NO BUENO

I literally said out loud to my husband at the show, “this is so boring”. No charm, no chemistry between the characters. The costumes were not characteristic of the time period of the play.

ONE OF THE WORST MUNY SHOWS IN RECENT YEARS

This is one of my favorite shows, but not this production. The sound quality was poor, the set bland with too much digital dependence, costumes a mess, cut down sound that was thin and underwhelming, a lot of the humor, favorite characters, songs and lines missing - I couldn't tell what the concept was supposed to be on costumes or set, it was like Medieval meets 80s meets...something I couldn't ID. This is NOT the quality of production I expect from the MUNY. I expected a beautiful, period (or at least a unified concept) costumes and sets, with those over the top details that make the MUNY the MUNY - there was no magic on that stage tonight - I have seen better put together productions at our local junior high. Please stop messing with the classics and give us the beautiful productions we have known you for in the past. PLEASE! Thank you at least for not messing with the songs you kept, even if they were underwhelmingly performed.

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME

It was very boring, costumes were boring, set was boring and actors were not believable with the story they were given.

CAMELOT

I’ve been going to the Muny for 50 years and this show ranks as one of the worst. This diversity stuff is getting out of hand- it’s shoved down our throats 24/7 , so entertainment should be a chance to get away and not ge on edge about constantly being politically correct. The costumes looked like they came from Goodwill! You are not recognizing your top customers- we don’t want classics told in a fresh, contemporary way- save that stuff for when the 20 year olds are older and paying your bills. 4 of us from your expensive 3rd row seats left at intermission. I heard you also ruined Chicago, so I don’t plan on attending anymore shows this year with that type of track record.

CAMELOT

Terrible. Stick to the original story line. Enough of this effort to be inclusive when producing a traditional show. If you want an artistic show reflecting the social issues of today, then choose a production that is new on Broadway or write a show reflective of today’s social issues. Don’t mess with our classics & modernize them!! You are on a pattern here & this is not why we are season ticket holders for over 30 years! Hated what you did to MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, CINDERELLA, 7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS & now CAMELOT! You’re loosing me……

CAMELOT

I've been a Muny fan for over 60 years. When Mike Isaacson came to town you could immediately see and feel the Muny improving with exceptional performance after performance...OMG what happened with Camelot? Was Mike on a temporary leave ? The diversity in casting, the costumes, the stage setting were all so distracting that I had to continue to tell myself "it's Ok, it's going to get better" Unfortunately it only got worse...Sorry to say this was unquestionably the most disappointing performance at the Muny I've ever seen...Maybe my age is no longer the market to which you are aiming to please...hopefully there are people who enjoyed this Camelot and future productions at the Muny...

HORRIBLE COSTUMES AND SCENERY

We are season ticket holders and this is by far the worst I have ever seen! The scenery looks like a $150 budget and was absolutely pathetic. The costumes made zero sense and was so distracting I could not focus on the songs. The two lead singers were strong, but lacked chemistry. Unfortunately Lancelot really did not work.
