In an immersive production that takes place entirely on a specially built pirate ship, enjoy a hilarious adventure across the globe as Blackbeard and his band of cut-throats seek the services of a supernatural subaquatic legion to take on the might of the British Army!

Commissioned by the Signature Theatre, this fresh new musical is sure to make waves in Washington and beyond!

Who was Blackbeard?

Born Edward Teach, British subject Blackbeard began his seafaring life as a privateer in the West Indies, joining the crew of fellow pirate Benjamin Hornigold in 1716. When Hornigold retired in 1717, he is said to have captured the ship, the Queen Anne's Revenge, from where his legend grew as the most fearsome pirate in the region...
