As the 2016 Gramophone's Artist of the Year, Danil Trifonov has quickly risen up the ranks of classical music. With his natural virtuosity, Trifonov is a champion of the concerto, chamber and vocal repertoire. Hailing from Russia, Trifonov started his musical training at the age of five. Going onto study at the prestigious Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, Trifonov where he was under the tutelage of Tatiana Zelikman. At the age of 27, Trifonov has recorded over 11 albums.
