Silent Sky focuses on protagonist Henrietta Leavitt, a young astronomer and daughter of a pastor who leaves her home in Massachusetts to work at Harvard University's Observatory where she makes important discoveries. In a sexist society and an entire decade before women gained the right to vote, will Henrietta's findings carry any weight?

Silent Sky comes from the pen of Lauren Gunderson. The award-winning playwright has written over 20 plays including 'I and You,' 'The Taming' and 'Natural Shocks.' She was recognized as America's most-produced living playwright by American Theatre Magazine in 2017.

The play is directed by Seema Sueko.
