Why see Jesse Welles?

Bringing Back Folk Protest

Channeling the ethos of the classic folk revival acts of the 1960s, Jesse Welles has discovered a vast global audience the past couple of years. Using nothing but his guitar and voice, Welles' simultaneously beautiful and hard-hitting songs have revived the folk song as a vehicle for protest, captured the feelings of millions. Don't miss the chance to see the man described as the Woody Guthrie of our era on tour!

Welles has found huge success on social media with songs that tell hard, bare truths about social and environmental issues, the healthcare system, capitalism, war and genocide. He's released nigh on 20 albums under his various monikers across the past decade or so, but recently his powerful music about current affairs - be it the war in Gaza or the state of the US healthcare system - have encapsulated the concerns of a disenfranchised generation, catapulting him to stardom both at home and abroad.
