The Cult Classic Is Reborn!
Fans of cult classic Beetlejuice rejoice! The hit 80s movie is returning this year as a brand new stage musical! Directed Alex Timbers, the new stage adaptation will receive a brand new book by Anthony King and Scott Brown, with a score by Australian Musician-Comedian extraordinaire Eddie Perfect.
Based on Tim Burton's Oscar winning movie, which starred the likes of Alec Baldwin and Winona Ryder, Beetlejuice is ramping up the weird for its new turn as a musical. With more of a focus on death-obsessed Lydia Deetz, Beetlejuice is aiming to head to Broadway later on this year, with a creepy and heebie-jeebie inducing run in Washington first! Alex Brightman will star as Beetlejuice, with Sophia Anne Caruso as Lydia.

Lydia Deetz has an odd obsession, death, and an even odder talent, talking to ghosts. So when her family move into a haunted mansion it's Lydia's time to shine. As the previous occupiers, Adam and Barbra (who are now dead) try to scare the new proprietors out of their beloved home, with no prevail, they call upon the mischievous and stripe loving Beetlejuice to their aid...
