The Commodores

The Masters of funk and soul will have you moving and grooving to classics like "Brick House," "Easy," "Nightshift," and "Three Times a Lady." Originating from Tuskegee, Alabama, in the late 1960s, The Commodores started as The Mystics before adopting their iconic name from a local inn. Led by Lionel Richie, they became known for their dynamic blend of funk, soul, and R&B.

The Pointer Sisters

The Pointer Sisters burst onto the music scene in the 1970s. Originally from Oakland, California, the group comprised sisters Ruth, Anita, Bonnie, and later, June Pointer. Their music seamlessly blended elements of pop, R&B, funk, and disco, creating a sound that was both infectious and innovative. Their breakthrough came in the late 1970s and early 1980s with a string of chart-topping hits, including the energetic "I'm So Excited," the dance anthem "Jump (For My Love)," and the infectious "Neutron Dance."
