The Migration: Reflections on Jacob Lawrence seamlessly brings crucial art to life. Inspired by Jacob Lawrence's renowned 60-panel "The Migration Series" (1940-41), the award-winning company has taken vivid inspiration from the images, colour palettes, and motifs in the painting series. The result? A first-hand glance into the 1900s; Jim Crow, lynchings, and dire racial oppression - all catalysts for millions of African American migrants to embark on a journey from the rural South to the industrial North, in a desperate bid to better their lives.
