Silver Bleeds Black The Sun tour

Alternative rock mainstays AFI hit the road for a mammoth North America tour this fall in support of their brand new album Silver Bleeds Black The Sun. Following on from tour dates opening for Green Day earlier this year, this tour marks their first major headline trek since the release of their 2021 album Bodies. They are joined on the tour by support act TR/ST.

California's AFI (abbreviated from A Fire Inside) have a come a long way since 1995's Answer That and Stay Fashionable, a two-barrelled assault of hardcore and punk. With the addition of guitarist Jade Puget in the early 00s, the band have expanded their sonic palette, drawing in influences from the likes of The Cure and Depeche Mode, with no two albums sounding fully alike. Their latest album is their first with Run For Cover Records, marking their twelfth full-length work in an impressive back catalog.
