Issa Rae Takes Insecure On Tour

To mark a decade since Insecure first hit our TV screens, the show’s co-creator and star Issa Rae and showrunner Prentice Penny heading out on a 13-date anniversary live tour, tying in with with Blocc Party, their newly launched rewatch podcast. Bridging the gap between digital commentary and live show, fans will get an intimate peek into the creative engines behind the show, behind the scenes stories that have so far remained untold, and guest appearances at selected dates!

Issa Rae's viral web series The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl set the scene for an evolution into the HBO series Insecure, which ran for five acclaimed seasons and earned numerous Emmy and Golden Globe Nominations. The show cemented Rae as a multi-talented figure in Hollywood and, beyond its awards pedigree, helped to champion independent Black musicians on its trendsetting soundtracks and served as a launchpad for underrepresented creative talent, both in front of and behind the camera.
