Chicago native Godfrey is one of the funniest and hardest-working comedians on the American stand-up circuit. Born with a mischievous smile permanently pasted on his lips, he was constantly in trouble growing up for being the class clown. Unbeknownst to his own parents, they also fuelled his gift for mirthful funny business by exposing him to old-school comedy films. 

His hilarious impressions of schoolmates and members of his football team paved the way to tirelessly working the Chicago comedy underground in the early 90s before getting discovered by the William Morris Talent Agency. Television and film roles soon followed - to date, Godfrey has starred in Soul Plane, Zoolander, 30 Rock, and Louie.
