FRONT ROW CENTER TICKETS, WAS SHE TIRED OR ZONED OUT?
I have been a fan for years and have seen her 4 times before. We had a great dinner at Wolfgang’s Lupe restaurant in celebration of our 29th anniversary. I like to keep a set list but after the first song I did not know the next 3 or 4 songs so ditched that idea. It seemed each song was turned over to the trio and Diana leaned back on her piano bench with one arm, watching the trio, then introducing each of them after their solo, but for like 3 or 4 songs. She NEVER made eye contact with the crowd……I was hoping for a picture from such choice seats. Best she did was glance towards the balcony a few times and I actually saw her eyes. I am 62 and she’s 58, maybe tired? of touring? Like many of my ‘old’ favorite bands Chicago, Foriegner, etc) maybe she has hit her expiration date. In contrast went to see ‘Lady Gaga, Jazz Piano’ with little idea of her or what to expect and ended up buying seats to the last night residency at Vegas. Both nights left me talking non-stop about what an artist she is.

DISAPPOINTED
Having seen DK in the past, we were hoping for a wonderful evening. Not to be had. Very lackluster performance, she seemed drugged and with no focus. CH Orchestra was great, but she did hold up her end. Encore was nothing more than CH Orchestra. Don’t go….

NOT GOOD
July 28, 2023: If one came to listen to her band, who were very talented, they had a good time. But she was literally out of it, for some unknown reason, and 3/4ths of the concert was taken up with her and jamming. I don't know if she even knew what city she was in as she went through the motions of playing little over an hour of her catalog. The only highlight was the encore Joni Mitchell song which seemed to be the only one she put anything into.
Hope she gets help or good advice.

TOTALLY OUT OF IT.
Do yourself a favor and read the recent reviews before you buy tickets. She was totally disengaged from the performance. She couldn't put a thought together in the very few times that she acknowledged the audience. Whether she was drunk or high is debatable. She needs help. We been big fans of hers for years and we're horribly disappointed. We saw her in Fort Wayne on the 1st.

SO DISAPPOINTING
August 9, 2023. Count Basie Theater, Red Bank NJ.
My wife and I left after about 40min into the show. Boring, she never engaged with the audience. One time she said something about a song she was about to do and you couldn't understand what she said. I really was looking forward to seeing her. Very disappointed. Others left as well.

VERY BORING AND NO RELATION TO THE AUDIENCE
Bought the tickets from a friend who couldn’t go to the concert - I should never have done that! My wife and I both agree that this is the worst performance we’ve ever witnessed. The band was great and DK can actually play the piano quite well, but her poor singing and total lack of communication with her audience made it an awful experience in total. Every song sounded the same and she didn’t have any mimic or expression in her face. Never again!

WE WALKED OUT AFTER 30 MINUTES!
I agree with every comment here and I’m surprised that her managers continued to let her perform this summer. I was so excited to see her perform live, but this was the worst concert I’ve ever been too. Please get her the help she needs!
