I’ve been to half a dozen cirque shows over the years & have been incredibly impressed & entertained every time.. well not this time.. the trademark costumes& makeup just wasn’t there.. the talent was there but the showmanship wasn’t . Normally you feel like you’re entering another world. Watching fascinating creatures doing the impossible.. not with this show..they looked like ordinary acrobats doing a show. I also paid $15 for a parking pass that no one looked at as we were leaving.. concession prices ridiculous too.. i’ll Read reviews before I attend another cirque show.. hope they get their mojo back!

GREAT SHOW BUT CONCESSIONS WERE A HUGE RIP OFF!!!
Performers are very talented and the show was fun to watch. However, we had to pay $85 for 5 soft pretzels (which were stale) and 5 diet cokes. This was a terrible and disappointing rip off and reflects very poorly on the Cirque Du Soleil show. Really sort of ruined it for me! Would not recommend to anyone.

DISAPPOINTED
We are a big fan of Cirque Du Soleil we are always thrilled to go when they come to town, but Amaluna the tour of this year was a huge disappointment. It was my least favorite Cirque Du Soleil show from the past several tours we went to. The clown ladies were not funny at all very annoying ever!! Water bowl, Teeterboard, Chinese Pole and Cali were impressive, but other performances were not surprising noting grabbed us. We didn't like the Uneven bars that all girls did ordinary gymnastic tricks and that was it! The girl who did a balancing trick, took too long I was getting really bored on that. Waste of time! Throughout the show, there was no wow-effect at all. Music was enjoyable so that helped for the night. However, I respect their effort, just didn't turn out exciting.
Love CIRQUE DU SOLEIL.

NOT GOOD.
The show had its moments. But certainly not as good as I was expecting. The clown was annoying not nearly as annoying as the woman. I kept thinking "what am I missing?" The lizard dude could really juggle. The music and band was great and the acts of strength by the sub 100lb women were simply amazing. But I was ready to leave immediately after that. There was nothing exciting about the show except for a few tense moments with the cheerleader style acrobatics. Bottom line, you will be disappointed one way or another with this show. I should have read the reviews before going to the show.

UNCOMFORTABLE AND SLOW AT POINTS
We sat in section 200, which I would recommend .. right centered and with no obstructions. It is a very snug "theatre", actually a big top tent in the parking lot.
The seats are extremely narrow. We have sat in tight seating sometimes but this was very uncomfortable le. If you shifted in your chair, the two people on either side of you have to readjust. Think 6 inches narrower than the middle seat of an airplane NARROW!!
The show itself was just OK. 30% was very exciting and 70% just dragged ... on and on ...
Between uncomfortable seating and a show that had a lot of dead time, made for a very LONG evening.
I would not do this show again. This is NOT the Cirque duo Soleil show you think of when you hear about it. This is a spinoff that does NOT do the franchise any favors. If you want to check seeing a Cirque du Soleil show off your Must do list, do NOT see this one.

SUPER DISAPPOINTED
I completely concur with everything Julie from SF noted in her review. She was spot on with every detail. By far the worst performance of Cirque de Soleil I’ve been to and wish I had checked the reviews before having spent a small fortune on tickets. It left such a bad taste I doubt I’ll ever buy tickets to CDS again.

SO DISAPPOINTING
We have seen nearly every incarnation of Cirque du Soleil and loved them all to varying degrees, but loved them nevertheless. We attended Amaluna this evening and were extremely disappointed. Where every other Cirque has had a dreamlike quality created by costuming, makeup and ingenious sets and lighting, this one seemed little more than gymnastics. The performers were all very talented as always. We especially enjoyed the woman who did the balancing mobile. We’d seen this on tv before tho. As for story? Nonexistent really. The best takeaway for me was the mobile. At the point in which the woman pulled the smallest piece out of it, with larger ribs collapsing all around her, I thought it worked on three levels. 1) even the smallest among us have great power 2) With determination and concentration the seemingly impossible becomes possible. 3) This smallish Cirque show in it's uninspired showing could cause the collapse of the larger Cirque franchise
