Bought tickets months ago and didn't expect too much. The concert was terrific with Mike Love leading the show and Bruce Johnston on Keyboards.
Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Scott Totten and others rounded out a super band, and there was a special guest musician, John Stamos, who played drums,
guitar, congas and sang. Virtually every hit was belted out and in this small venue it was an absolutely wonderful 2+ hours of nonstop fun.
If you have an opportunity to catch them at your local theater, don't miss it!

FUN FUN FUN ON THE AUTOBAHN
FUN FACT - Kraftwerks "Autobahn" was based off Beachboys "Fun, Fun, Fun" - listen for yourself. pretty neat when played side by side

CONEY ISLAND BEACH BOYS
I have seen the Beach Boys probably over a dozen times over t.he last
say 40 years. Last nights concert was great. All of the hits were played
and they had plenty over the years. The crowd was into the show big
time and the ages who were their were all over the place. Mike Love
was great and he now has his family into the band. A wonderful show.

THEY ARE FOREVER GREAT!
No matter when or where, The Beach Boys always deliver a great concert! I’ve been a fan
since the band started. They never disappoint.

Didn't know what to expect but was surprised in a
good way. Great show! They knew just who to fill in
on people no longer in the group. Played a lot of
classic, popular songs with new ones as well. Loved
the video behind that showed them in their hay day.
Definitely one not to miss!

AWESOME!!
Just saw them in Akron back in October and absolutely loved it. I am so excited, because I
am planning to see them again when they come to the Ohio Theater! I go to Ohio State
University and so this performance will be really close to me.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING TALENT
Looks like the BB are reinventing
themselves. The musicians are excellent. Of
course, Love and Jardine fantastic.

BEACH BOYS HAWAII THEATRE
Great show. Sang all the favorite Beach Boys songs. Video of past performances was informative but did not interfere with the show. Mike Love and Bruce Johnson had great rapport with fans. Hard not to be happy listening to the Beach Boys. The Hawaii Theatre is a great venue for their show. Very satisfied fan! Great tribute to Carl and Dennis Wilson

BEACH BOYS- ENDLESS SUMMER
The Beach Boys at Brown County were fantastic. I’ve seen them at least two dozen times in all kind of venues. The BCMC is a fantastic setting. The Beach Boys band might have sounded better than any other time I’ve heard them

I have seen the Beach Boys throughout the years. In fact I have 2 poster pictures of Mike Love and me together with his arms around me from, 36 years ago.
They were playing in, Milwaukee Wiscinsin at the time.
I have seen them play at Epcot Center in Disney World and numerous other places.
So when I say tonight's concert was EXCELLENT I know what I am talking about.
I wish I could give them more then 5 stars.
Mike Love had his son Christian on stage singing. His son is a wonderful talented addition. And the bonus special guest on tour with them is John Stamos.
What another GREAT addition to the band.
Christian Love & John Stamos really do make great Beach Boys!!!

GREW UP WITH THEM & THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT THE CROWD
I’m a young 71, and my wife is 68 & sat in the Pavillion and were entertained fully. They did a great job, and the audience appreciation was there for them.
Tickets were not too expensive, Ravinia staff were helpful

BEACH BOYS AT WESTERN WASHINGTON FAIR SEPT. 6TH
I was amazed that this band with only 2 original members. Would rebuild it as well as they have.
Every musician on that stage was excellent. I've been listening to rock for 55 years including this band. I would say the sound they have now is 90 percent original sounding maybe more. Even the backup vocals.
It was a great show.
You won't go wrong with this group if your a fan.

COULDN'T BELIEVE IT
Totally blown away as to how good this show was. Girls were screaming and crying, was hilarious. This 9 man band was very tight, lyrics and music was bang on. Mike Love at 81 never missed a beat and sounded like he was 18. Phenomenal show.

BEACH BOY LOVE
It was a wonderful, longer(great) than expected concert 2+ hours. Very hot! We had inside seating. It was so exciting, all ages and packed with happy people everywhere .

BEACH BOYS
4 stars ONLY because sadly only 2 originals in this tour) This local theater holds about 3000 seats. Beautiful old theatre that hosts a variety of shows. I have seen The Beach Boys numerous I’m in Pittsburgh. Thur the years at much larger venues & theaters. Yes only 2 originals in this tour but they came out & gave a fantastic show. The touring musicians were just incredible bring the Beach Boy sound musically & vocally. And the young drummer was a showman & entertainer. The vocals, harmonies & musicianship were first rate—outstanding!! Not too many musical groups preform a concert for 2 1/2 hours. Many groups play about 1 hr 20 minutes straight & done. The show was sold out! The background videos were enjoyable showing the ‘original’s ’ thru the last 60 years. Anyone there were treated to a great show. THANK YOU BEACH BOYS & ALL THE BEHIND CREW FOR TAKING US BACK IN TIME!! Think about a return dare next year!,

Not what I expected, not as professional as I thought they would be. Only one original member and he seemed to have an off night.

MIKE LOVE AND HIS BAND REVIEW
Just saw Mike Love and his band in Elk Grove Village, IL. It was
a free concert. They use the name Beach Boys, but this is not appropriate
(even thought Love holds the rights to the name) since Love is the only
original member in the band.
Mike had problems with his vocals. They were inconsistent and flat,
no surprise since he is 80 yrs old and never had great in-concert vocals.
He also was lethargic.
These problems were not a big issue since the concert was free, but
if someone paid $100 a ticket then there would an issue.

HANG IT UP GUYS
I felt like I was at a concert for a retirement home. I got laughs from how ridiculous it was. A total waste of money. The two guys are 78 and 77. They have lost their voices and any rhythm. The younger guys carried the show, but it was an expensive night. We left at intermission and were glad we didn't wast any more time there.

BREACH BOYS
I agree, hang it up boys.

PAINFUL
Like listening to a cover band with bad voices. I’m going to pretend that I never saw or heard them live tonight, so I can still enjoy their old glorious recordings.

TIME TO CALL IT QUITS
Horrible concert. Should have been called John Stamos concert. Mike Love should go home and stop taking people's money. Most songs sung by a mediocre back up band and Stamos prancing around. Bad sound mixing and a total waste of the LA Philharmonic .

GARBAGE JULY 4 2023 CONCERT
This was indeed the John Stamos concert - he did awesome on drums and speech. Mike Love totally ruined it - it was like an old gentlemen playing 'karaoke' at a bar, but at a grand event. Baritone in the original Beach Bays sounds was non-existent. Fake sounding voice. Total disaster. Crowds were leaving right after the fireworks and before the next song.
Not Mike Love Again! from Los Angeles, California
DEPRESSING JULY 4TH 2023 CONCERT
I paid $200 for terrace seats and the concert was a total disappointment. Mike (foot in mouth) Love came across like a sloppy old fart at a bar with his distasteful "yo mamma" joke and amateur karaoke in totally bad taste. No morals. He tried to make the concert more about himself rather than the Beach Boys. However, he was far eclipsed by John Stamos on the guitar and drums - that and the fireworks was worth about $50 (not $200). The stand-in (fake) band sounded nothing like the Beach Boys. It was basically an amateur concert for a seniors home by seniors. No skills except for John. Philharmonic was good as were late fireworks. Many people left early in discontent. Shame on Management for picking a non-existent band. Could have invited The Eagles instead.
