I caught the show on Oct 26th. Gary played
and sang with so much heart. I felt blessed
for being able to experience it. I've seen Eric
Clapton, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai and
more. I was amazed that Gary Clark Jr. gave
me a show that brought tears to my eyes. It
was so beautiful. The view was great and
this venue is fantastic.

FANTASTIC SHOW
Last night’s show at the Aztec in San
Antonio was superb. Gary’s stage
presence was impressive. For more
than two hours, Gary moved
comfortably from one treat to the
next. Great range on vocals and his
guitar game has a maturity about it.
No showboating, just solid command
from the get-go. The finale with the
Peterson Brothers was an
appropriate send off. Highly
recommend that you catch this tour.

GREAT FROM BEGINNING TO END!
Gary and his group of musicians were pure art. His music was better than the studio recordings and of course his guitar play was flawless. Everyone raves about his fantastic guitar play but it seems to make his singing go without true merit. His vocals are much like the late Prince. The range is extraordinary!

EPIC
I'm 64 years old and have been to a few concerts in my day. I was absolutely blown away by this young man talents. I would say top 5 for me. Felt like I was 16 years old again.

GARY CLACK JR BERKLEY
Went into the show with high expectations, and Gary Clark Jr and his band blew by any expectations. This show was off the hook amazing.

WALL OF LIGHT AND SOUND
Third time seeing GCJ - he has matured as a guitar player and entertainer. Amazing light show and a full throttle sound. Also saw Mayer, EC, Joe B this fall - tough to look ahead to next year after that. GCJ and Joe B topped my list. It was a full on pounding experience - if you were too close to the stage it might not have played out as well. GCJ has flushed out a better sounding traveling band. He brought his openers on for encore and there were some sound issues but did not stop the evening. It will be a shame if GCJ graduates to arenas as he is a perfect in the 5K-7500 auditorium. It is a high energy performance - his sound is an amazing cross of traditional blues, some reggae beats, little hip hop, some 70’s r&b, one song even had a Prince like vocals. He melds this all together into a pulsating show that can bowl you over. Go see GCJ - real deal! He played a few more shows then joined EC at Crossroads in Dallas. Now I wait patiently for TTB to come my way.

CRISP MUSICIANSHIP ON A CRISP NIGHT
I enjoyed the show. The band was excellent. Tight and professional. Possibly the non Gary solos went a few bars to long, but overall was they are some terrific musicians. Show lights and sound were fit music and venue perfect. I can only recall one reverb the entire night. Only knock was they didn’t play This Land. Wish they would have started the encore with This Land.

LIGHTS AND DISTORTION
Had great seats but couldn’t watch him play as the light show took all focus off of the stage. Sound was loud which is ok but mix and distortion distracted the music. We came to watch Gary Clark play. We were unable to do so.

PHOENIX SHOW
Bass was way to loud and the sound to loud for indoor venue.

CONCERT RUINED BY BAD SOUND
They had the sound way to loud with way too much bass. You could barely hear the guitar solos and vocals. We were sitting 10 rows from the stage in the center section. To make matters worse they didn't open the gates until 8PM. We missed half of Marcus King's set.

PLAYED TWO MAYBE THREE HITS IN TWO HOURS
Gary has earned the right to expand his field and more than earned hit right to showcase his new album, but he has to play more hits. Making matters worse, the audience spent more time listening to keyboard solos than Gary’s guitar solos. The man on keys was fine but that’s not what people came to hear.
