The World Premiere Of The Foreigner Musical

One guitar slung way down low is his one way ticket - the only way to go! The music of English-American classic rock heroes Foreigner gets the musical theatre treatment in Jukebox Hero, a brand new world premiere production by prolific writing duo Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, the minds behind The Commitments and Across the Universe feature films. A coming of age tale set to a driving, anthem laden score that features 16 Foreigner mega smash hits including  'I Wanna Know What Love Is', 'Cold As Ice', 'Hot Blooded' and of course, the titular barn stormer of a tune!

Jukebox Hero is set in in the fictitious climes of rural rustbelt town Blaydon Pennsylvania, a place dependent on a single failing industry. When the town's main factory and source of income closes, most of its inhabitants lose their jobs. However, there is a shining light in the form of Ryan Perry, a former Blaydon son who left to find fame and fortune in the big city. Now a famous rock star, Perry must face his demons on a not so happy trip down memory lane before he can help the desperate townsfolk.
