Why See Ain't Too Proud?
The Life and times of the temptations
Join Berkeley Repertory Theatre at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as they present the pre-Broadway Engagement of Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations! This follows the production's critically acclaimed world premiere run, which broke records and became the highest-grossing production in the Berkeley Repertory Theatre's history.
What is Ain't Too Proud About?
Ain't Too Proud follows the extraordinary journey that led The Temptations from the streets of Detroit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Travelling back five decades, you'll be witnessing their signature dance moves and incredible harmonies which helped them to rise to the top of charts. Not all is music and dance for this iconic group, this moving and personal story will reflect the friendship and betrayal that nearly tore them apart.
They've got sunshine on a cloudy day
Expect to hear the iconic score that's been made up of The Temptation's legendary songs: 'My Girl', 'Just My Imagination', and 'Papa Was A Rolling Stone'.
