Composed of 15 world-leading soloists, including Chris Crenshaw and Sherman Irby, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is one of the world's leading large Jazz and Big band ensembles. Formed in 1988, they've been led by current bandleader (and artistic director) Wynton Marsalis since 1991.
A famed trumpeter and composer, whose voice became instantly recognizable to millions through his Making the Music series on NPR, Marsalis is the winner of nine Grammys and has played with everyone from Herbie Hancock to Dizzy Gillespie and Sarah Vaughn. Don't miss this chance to see this excellent collective bring you the very best in Jazz, Big Band and more!
