The NSO Pops Welcomes Ashley Brown

As the weather turns colder and the ol' festive feeling starts to stir, comfort is found in food, music and gatherings. Join the NSO Pops for the highlight of their Christmas-time calendar as they warm the cockles during their annual family-friendly singalong with the Washington Chorus and rising Broadway superstar Ashley Brown, making her debut with the orchestra. Together the ensemble will swing into the holidays with fresh takes on the carols that make Christmas festivities that much more special.

Brown marked a stellar debut on the Great White Way when she originated the role of Mary Poppins in 2006, going on to star as the magical nanny during an Award-winning national tour. Alongside an appearance in the Broadway production of 'Beauty & The Beast', the charismatic songstress and her soaring vocals have performed with some of North America's top orchestras including the Boston Pops, The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the New York Pops and the Seattle Symphony amongst others.
