October 15, 2016

Recently lighting up TV and laptop screens around the world with her new smash hit Netflix series entitled Lady Dynamite, it may surprise some to find out that impression queen Maria Bamford has been honing her craft since the early 90s. Armed with a thousand voices, Bamford's off the wall style mines the depths of mental health, pop culture and her own personal life with hilariously quirky results.

October 18, 2016

Styx spent most of 2014 touring across the country with fellow 70s legends Foreigner, but now they're striking out on their own. Led by songwriting talents of Dennis De Young, Tommy Shaw and James Young, the band racked up hit after hit in the 1970s and 80s including Babe, Mr. Roboto and Boat on the River.

Grammy Award-winning soulful songstress Lalah Hathaway has music running through her veins. She may be the daughter of legendary singer Donny Hathaway, but Lalah has carved out a name for herself far from the shadow of her father's considerable achievements with a stunning set of vocal pipes and a versatility that has seen her command a range of genres from jazz to gospel to urban contemporary.

Gladys Knight Poster

Gladys Knight has never been pigeonholed by her early Motown years. With her backing band The Pips she was one of the label's brightest stars in the late sixties, recording, amongst others, the original version of I Heard it through the Grapevine. She isn't nicknamed 'The Empress of Soul' for nothing. Since then however she's dabbled in jazz, r'n'b and gospel, and secured her place in the annuals of movie history with the theme from 1989's Bond film License to Kill. Rumours are there's a new album in the works so this 2014 tour may well see the premier of new material.
