A must see

With it's foundation dating back to the 1740's, the prestigious Mariinsky Ballet has long been a world-leader in classical ballet. After struggling for survival under the Soviet regime, the company has gone on to flourish in the 21st century, touring the world with its enviable repetoire and unmistakable talents.

For the Washington leg of the tour they will recite excepts from four enchanting and utterly beautiful ballets, utilizing the knowledge and values that have permeated the company since day one.
