Washington Irving's spooky tale is immortalized in dance.
The Washington Ballet artistic director Septime Webre presents his imaginative reinvention of one of America's greatest and most recognisable tales, Washington Irving's spooky Sleepy Hollow. The haunting account of Ichabod Crane's dealings with the terrifying headless horseman and his love for the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel is immortalized in lush and eloquent dance.
Published in 1820, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow has seen many wonderful adaptations, with this innovative ballet an exciting new way to enjoy the iconic story.
