"A heartwarming tale about the manner in which two people of goodwill cross the deep ravines of cultural borders and come to an understanding and respect for each other."

The New York Times

Why See Driving Miss Daisy?

Fords charming rendition of this wonderfully nuanced play stars renowned Wasington actor Nancy Robinette as Daisy, a testy, wealthy southern widower who's life takes an unexpected turn when she hires Hoke Colburn (played by Craig Wallace) an African-American, to be her Chauffeur.

Pulitzer Prize winner Driving Miss Daisy explores the issues of racism an predicted that permeated American Society in the 1940s, and how against the tumult of civil unrest, one unlikely duo learn about the transformative power of a working relationship turning to friendship in this warm and inspiring production that was famously adapted into an Oscar winning film starring Morgan Freeman and Jessica Tandy.
